An accident occurred besides the Survey Department in Narahenpita a short while ago. The broken branch of a Boo tree has fell down top of the four vehicles which were parking in Asiri hospital car park.

Only one person has hospitalized and four vehicles have crushed due to the incident and one of them has completely damaged. Environmental police have reported that the Bho tree is older more than 200 years and this was the 2nd an incident within last couple of years.

I' am here right now besides the survey Department in Narahenpita where banch of the Sri Kirula Boodiya fell down on top of four vehicles in the Asiri car park at 9.30 this morning. Four vehicles have crushed and Environmental Police should take the responsibility for not to let this kind damage happen over and over again.
