The Queen Movie Critique

The Queen mainly based on the Royal Family in United Kingdom and how they were dealt with the death of Princess Diana. The movie begins after the 1997 British General Election and Tony Blair appointed as the new Prime Minister in United Kingdom. He was young and the inventor of something fresh and exciting called new labor.

After several months later the world wakes up to the shocking news that Princess Diana, the divorced wife of Prince Charles has died in a car crash in Paris. The world, the British public, and then the sympathetic tributes pour in – flowers are stacked up outside the gates of Buckingham Palace. But Buckingham Palace is empty. The Royal family members were spent their usual summer holidays. The Queen has no reasons to change their mind and plans because she was no longer a member of the Royal family. Charles was immediately dispatched to paris to bring the Diana’s dead body. British tabloids become inflammatory about the lack of a statement from the Royal Family.

Tony Blair was the man who tried to change the mind and give lot of advices to the Queen and she was rejected all things at all the time. In that case the Royal Family's ratings plummeted, Blair's popularity increased. Blair called to the Queen and asked her televised address to the public about the fly a Union flag at half mast over Buckingham Palace, and speak to the nation about Diana's life and legacy.

Finally the Queen accepted it and she was addressed the public about Diana’s life and legacy. She was Described Diana as "an exceptional and gifted human being. Two months later, Blair visited to the Buckingham Palace for a weekly meeting.

In this movie actors and actresses did their characters well. The Director Stephen Frears was considered about beautiful shots and camera angels as well as the naturality of this movie.
